The Clearwater Lodge is located on the edge of the Boundary Water Canoe Area Wilderness and offers plenty of fun options for guests of any age. Gunflint Trail, 774 Clearwater Road, Grand Marais, MN - From Duluth Airport: Head towards Grand Marais. In Grand Marais, head north on the Gunflint Trail (County Road 12) and travel approximately 28 miles to Clearwater Lake Road (County Road 66). Drive four miles until the Clearwater Lodge comes into view. Please use caution while driving, the road is windy and narrow in places and there may be moose on the road.
